Katia and I received a letter today from the National Visa Center. In the letter it says that within week they will forward the visa application to the consular sectoin of the Madrid, Spain embassy. After arriving to Spain they will sent a packet to katia letting her know the date of her appointment, what documents she needs, and how much it will cost. Hopefully soon I will be bringing her here to the U.S.A. Until later....

Hey Everyone,

This is the first of many posts from Stan & Katia. Katia is doing well in Spain and I am doing well here in Salem except we are separated by about 5500 miles. Our visa application was approved by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and is now at the National Visa Center in New Hampshire. It will be there for about one month and then it will be sent to Madrid, Spain. The next step will be that the consulate will send a packet telling us what further documents we need and the date of the appointment. It's taken awhile but it will be worth the wait when we are together.
