Katia is here in the US!!!!!!!!!

At last katia has arrived to the United States. She flew into Portland on the 27th of November and we are driving to Salem on the 29th. We went to the tree lighting at Pioneer Square in downtown Portland and went to Lloyd Center mall. We have a fun time staying with Gretchen and Sergio. We hope eveyone is doing great and will put up some pictures when we have some. Love for all.

Well, we are almost there. I leave this Sunday 11/2 for Spain and Katia and I have our interview on 11/5 in Madrid. If everything goes well then we will have the visa and return together on the 16th of November. We already have the wedding for the 27th of December so she had better be here. Hopefully in Spain we can take more pictures and post them. Until next time.....

Katia and I received a letter today from the National Visa Center. In the letter it says that within week they will forward the visa application to the consular sectoin of the Madrid, Spain embassy. After arriving to Spain they will sent a packet to katia letting her know the date of her appointment, what documents she needs, and how much it will cost. Hopefully soon I will be bringing her here to the U.S.A. Until later....

Hey Everyone,

This is the first of many posts from Stan & Katia. Katia is doing well in Spain and I am doing well here in Salem except we are separated by about 5500 miles. Our visa application was approved by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and is now at the National Visa Center in New Hampshire. It will be there for about one month and then it will be sent to Madrid, Spain. The next step will be that the consulate will send a packet telling us what further documents we need and the date of the appointment. It's taken awhile but it will be worth the wait when we are together.
